Shipping Policy

1. Overview

Welcome to Gilead's Essence Botanical's Shipping Policy Page. This policy outlines our procedures, charges, and timelines for shipping goods across the United Kingdom and internationally. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms below.

 

2. Order Processing Times

  • Standard Processing: All orders bellow 30 items are processed within 7 business days, and all orders above 30 items will be processed 2-3 weeks from order confirmation. Orders placed after  2:00 PM will be processed the following business day.

  • Peak Times: During peak seasons or new product launches, processing may take up to 14- 21 business days.

  • Weekend Dispatches: We do not process or dispatch orders on weekends or UK Bank Holidays. [1, 2]

 

3. UK Delivery Options & Rates

We partner with Royal Mail, DPD, Parcelforce, Evri, to ensure secure delivery of wholesale quantities. [1]

We also run a specialised delivery service, subject to a pre-arranged delivery agreement. Retailers should contact our sales department, to arrange delivery through our delivery driver, before putting in orders.  

We advice that retailers inform themselves on delivery details offered by the specific courier they would choose to use, before placing orders. Orders placed after  2:00 PM will be processed the following business day.

 

ROYAL MAIL

Parcels: Delivered Monday to Saturday, 7:00 am and 4:30 pm. Selected premium services also offer Sunday parcel delivery.

  • First Class aims to arrive the next working day
     

  • Second Class usually takes 2–3 working days

PARCEL FORCE

Parcelforce deliveries typically take place Monday to Friday between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm. Saturday deliveries are also available, usually running between 7:00 am and 2:00 pm

  • express10: Guaranteed delivery by 10:00 am the next working day.

  • expressAM: Guaranteed delivery by the afternoon of the next working day.

  • express24: Delivery by the close of business the next working day.

  • express48: Delivery within 2 working days

 

DPD

DPD delivers parcels across the UK from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Sunday, although hours can extend until 7:00 pm or 10:00 pm depending on the route and address type

EVRI

Evri delivers parcels to your door between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM (Monday to Saturday, excluding bank holidays). On the day of delivery, they will typically provide a 1-hour delivery window so you can plan your day. [1, 2]

 

Service Speeds & Timeframes

  • Standard Delivery: Typically takes 2 to 4 working days.

  • Next Day Delivery: Parcels usually arrive the next working day if dropped off before 12:00 PM.

 

Note: Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, and offshore UK islands may be subject to longer transit times and regional surcharges. [1]

 

4. Wholesale & Pallet Shipping

For large bulk orders that exceed standard parcel limits:

  • Pallet Deliveries: Orders over [e.g., 200kg] or [e.g., 15+ cases] will be shipped via a pallet network.

  • Kerbside Delivery: Pallet deliveries are kerbside only. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the delivery location can accommodate a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) and that appropriate offloading equipment (e.g., a forklift or pallet jack) is available.

  • Tail-lift Requirements: If you require a tail-lift or a two-man delivery service, this must be requested at checkout and may incur an additional fee. [1]

 

5. International Shipping

We proudly serve international trade buyers.

  • EU Shipping: Deliveries typically take  5–21  business days. Duties and taxes [e.g., are included / are the responsibility of the buyer].

  • Rest of the World: Delivery times vary between  7–21 business days depending on customs clearance. [1, 2]

 

6. Damages, Shortages & Discrepancies

  • Transit Damage: Any visible damage to the outer packaging or pallets must be noted on the courier’s delivery note at the time of receipt.

  • Reporting Issues: You must inspect your delivery immediately upon arrival. Any shortages, incorrect items, or damaged goods must be reported to us in writing at: info@gileadsessencebotanicals.com  within  5 days of delivery. Photographic evidence may be required. [1]

 

7. Missing or Delayed Orders

If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window, please check your tracking link. If the courier shows the parcel as delivered but you haven't received it, or if it is delayed, please contact us at: info@gileadsessencebotanicals.com  immediately so we can investigate with the courier.
